Oddfellows Will Decorate Grave of Departed Brethern

IOOF symbol

That very beautiful and impressive service of reverently placing flowers on the graves of their departed brethren will be observed by the local Oddfellows next Sunday afternoon. The members will leave the lodge room at 3.30 o'clock and proceed to the Union Cemetery where a brief service will be held on the square prior to the grave decorating. Two old familiar hymns, "One by One Our Loved Ones Slowly Pass Beyond the Bounds of Time" and "Jesus Lover of My Soul" will be sung and Rev. F.W. Anderson will offer prayer and deliver a brief address. The public are cordially invited to participate in this service. Decoration Day has grown to such an extent that practically every plot in the cemetery is brightened by a few flowers on this occasion.

Eighty-five members of the local lodge have passed away and on the grave of each departed brother will be placed the three links of flowers and two large boquets.

The follwing table lists the deceased members.
